Dr. Hemant K. Bhargava grew up in India and attended medical school at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi. He continued his journey at the Children’s Hospital of Cincinnati, conducting medical research alongside top researchers in the field. He then pursued his passion for working with children and completed pediatric residency at The University of Illinois, Chicago.
Dr. Bhargava is keenly interested in newborn care, respiratory illnesses, ADHD, and preventative care. He believes in working hand-in-hand with parents to equip them with the tools to ensure their child’s health and development as they grow. Dr. B, as he is known to many children in St. Augustine, believes in building a rapport with all his young patients to make them feel comfortable and confident during their visits.
Dr. Bhargava lives in St. Augustine with his wife and pets. His children, a daughter and son, are both in graduate school and regularly visit to roll their eyes at his unending supply of dad jokes. He unwinds by playing with his dogs, tending to his koi pond, trying to keep up with his garden and dabbling in woodwork. He loves to swim and tries to get away to the mountains every chance he gets.
